The Prestige Project

An 8-week mini cut, done properly

The Project

No poverty calories

Most cuts leave you flat, weak and miserable by week three. This one doesn’t.

It’s an aggressive deficit with refeeds built in, so you’re not on poverty calories for 8 weeks straight. Add a diet break in week 4, and your training stays strong and you stay sane.

Then you learn how to reverse out properly, so you keep what you’ve worked for.

FAQs

Questions lads ask

Will I be starving?

No, and that’s the whole point. It’s an aggressive cut, but with refeeds built in and a diet break in week 4, you’re never stuck on poverty calories for weeks on end.

How do refeeds work?

From week 2, refeed days are built into your plan, and you choose the day that suits you. On a refeed you eat more carbs, while protein and fat stay the same. Then in week 4 you get a structured 3-day diet break, and we’ll explain exactly what it does and why it matters.

Can I still have a drink or eat out?

Yes. You’ll get videos showing you how to fit in pints and takeaways without wrecking your week. But let’s be straight: if you’re on the pints every weekend, it will slow your progress. The fewer big nights out over the 8 weeks, the better your results will be.

Do I get a meal plan?

No, and that’s on purpose. You get personalised calorie and macro targets, then hit them with the foods you actually enjoy, so it works whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or a fussy eater. You won’t be left to figure it out on your own, though. You’ll get loads of meal examples and recipes to use.

Do I have to track my food?

Yes, for the full 8 weeks. It’s the only way to know you’re actually in a deficit. We’ll show you how to track properly, without it taking over your life.

How many days a week do I need to train?

Ideally three to five. You get 3, 4 and 5-day gym plans, so you can pick the one that fits your week. If life gets busy, two sessions a week is the bare minimum to keep seeing a worthwhile result, but the more consistent you are, the better your results.

Is it personalised?

Your nutrition is. Your calorie and macro targets are set for you, and your coach adjusts them every week based on your progress. Your weekly check-ins and feedback are personal to you as well. The training plans are proven templates, but your coach gives you personal feedback on your progress every week.

How much time does it take each week?

It depends where you’re starting from. As a rough guide: two to three gym sessions is around 2 to 3 hours, plus an hour or two of meal prep, a few minutes a day logging your food and weighing in, and your weekly check-in. That’s a few hours a week at the very minimum. The minimum won’t get you the best result, though. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out.

What if I can’t make the live calls?

No problem. Every call is recorded, so you can catch up whenever suits you.

What happens after 8 weeks?

On our live reverse diet call, we’ll show you exactly how to reverse out, so you keep what you’ve worked for. If you’d like us to coach you through the reverse and into building properly, we’ll talk about one-to-one coaching nearer the time.
